Data we collect
Postvolve may collect and store the following data:
- User email address
- User subscription plan
- Daily usage count
- Authentication session data required to keep the user logged in
This data is stored using Supabase.
Authentication
Postvolve uses Google login through Supabase authentication.
When a user signs in, Postvolve may store Supabase access tokens and refresh tokens in chrome.storage.local to keep the user authenticated inside the Chrome extension.
Text processed by Postvolve
Postvolve only reads the text written by the user inside the X composer when the user actively clicks one of Postvolve’s action buttons, such as Improve, Translate & Adapt, or refinement buttons.
Postvolve sends the selected composer text and optional user instructions to the Postvolve backend in order to generate improved versions, translations, adaptations, or variants.
AI processing
When AI mode is active, the text and instructions provided by the user may be processed by OpenAI to generate the requested output.
Postvolve does not use AI processing unless the user actively requests an action through the extension interface.
Payments
Paid plans are managed through Stripe.
Stripe may process payment information according to its own privacy and security policies. Postvolve does not store full credit card details.
Feedback
User feedback may be collected through Google Forms and stored in Google Sheets.
Feedback submission is optional.
What Postvolve does not access
Postvolve does not:
- Read the user’s X timeline
- Read direct messages
- Access browser history
- Access cookies
- Access unrelated tabs
- Track browsing activity outside the required extension functionality
- Sell user data
How we use data
Postvolve uses collected data to:
- Authenticate users
- Manage access to free and paid plans
- Track daily usage limits
- Process user requested text improvements
- Provide support
- Improve the product based on optional feedback
Data sharing
Postvolve may share limited data with service providers required to operate the product:
- Supabase for authentication, user data, plan data, and usage data
- OpenAI for AI text processing when AI mode is used
- Stripe for payment processing
- Google Forms and Google Sheets for optional feedback collection
Postvolve does not sell user data.
Data deletion
Users may request deletion of their data by contacting:

Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated as Postvolve evolves.
